For the Alma Mater
Passing out ceremonyEach year hundreds of students leave the portals of their ALMA MATER for higher education. These times are poignant, as are all times of farewell or should I say Au Revoir. These ceremonies are the pinnacle of a school life which are rich with experiences and are an apt conclusion to the end of a particular phase in ones life and mark the beginning of another. It is on this occasion that the Complete Xaverian award is given. Infrastructure supports During the past 31 years whenever the need has arisen for any help in terms of infrastructure for the school, ALSOC has provided a helping hand. Some of the areas where we have made contributions to the infrastructure are :-
a. AV Room
b. Water Filteration Plant
c. Computers
d. EPABX
e. Sports & ; Games Facilities
f. Soumitra Sadan
g. Mody Seva Trust Sponsored Building
h. Scholarships

l. Computerising the admission register of SXCS from 1949
Student Exchange Program
Each year some students from India visit Belvedere College in Dublin as part of a student exchange program. This gives these students a unique opportunity to interact with students in another part of the world, to widen their horizons and to see and be a part of a world so different and yet so similar. These students stay with the local Irish families. This helps them to understand another The experiences of these children are so touching and their spirit so infectious that it makes this program as one of the most loved programs organised by ALSOC.
The work they do involves social and community service to physically challenged. Similarly, students from Ireland come here and stay.
Alsoc Awards These awards have in general been given as a tribute to our teachers and priests who have taught us over the years. This has been ALSOCs way of paying our respect to them who have moulded Xaverians over the decades.

The Complete Xaverian Award The Debarya Datta Memorial Award for The Complete Xaverian This award is given in the memory of Debarya Datta who died in a plane crash. This award was instituted by his father in the memory of his son. This award consists of a cash award and a gold medal for The Complete Xaverian. These awards are given to those Xaverians who have fulfilled and are living the life of a complete Xaverian. This award is an epitome of the Xaverian we all strive to be and award those who come close to that ideal. This ideal gives every Xaverian a goal in life to strive towards and every winner a sense of pride in living the life. So far this award has been given to Shrawan Singhal in 2001 and Richard Knight in 2002.
